ouvindo : absolutamente nada

E ainda empolgada com esses post sobre livros....texto control "ceado " e control " Viado" do antigo blog...

gente soh vim aki postar esse poema lindo ( ele eh meio extenso mas vale a pena ler), ele foi tirado do livro THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER mas infelizmente ainda não foi traduzido para o portugues,pelo que eu li a respeito , ele eh uma especie de O APANHADOR NO CAMPO DE CENTEIO , soh por essa comparação da vontade de ler , bem chega de lero lero ... aki vai o poem:

Once on a piece of yellow paper with green lines
uma vez num pedaço amarelo de papel com linhas verdes
he wrote a poem
ele escreveu um poema
And he called it "Chops"
e ele o chamou de " Chops"
because that was the name of his dog
porque aquele era o nome do seu cachorro
And that's what it was all about
e era disso que tudo se tratava
And his teacher gave him an A
e a sua professora lhe deu um A
and a gold star
e uma estrela dourada
And his mother hung it on the kitchen door and read it to his aunts
e sua mãe pendurou na porta da cozinha e leu para suas tias
That was the year Faher Tracy took all the kids to the zoo
aquele foi o ano que o padre Tracy levou todas as crianças ao Zoologico
And let them sing on the bus
e deixou elas cantarem no onibus
And his little sister was born
e sua irmãzinha nasceu
with tiny toenails and no hair
com as unhas do pé pequenininhas e sem cabelo
And his mother and father kissed alot
e sua mãe e seu pai se beijavam pra caramba
And the girl around the corner
e a garota da vizinhança
sent him a Valentine with a row of X's
mandou pra ele um cartão com uma fileira de X's
and he had to ask his father what the X's meant
e ele teve que perguntar para seu pai o que os X's significavam
And his father always tucked him in bed at night
e seu pai sempre o levava pra cama de noite
And was always there to do it
e estava sempre lá para faze-lo

Once on a piece of white paper with blue lines
uma vez num pedaço branco de papel com linhas azuis
he wrote a poem
ele escreveu um poema
And he called it "Autumn"
e ele o chamou de " Outono"
because that was the name of the season
porque aquela era o nome da estação
And that's what it was all about
e era disso que tudo se tratava
And his teacher gave him an A
e sua professora lhe deu um A
and asked him to write more clearly
e pediu pra ele escrever mais claramente
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
e sua mãe nunca pendurou na porta da cozinha
because of its new paint
por causa da nova pintura
And the kids told him that Father Tracy smoked cigars
e as crianças disseram pra ele que o padre Tracy fumava cigarros
And left butts on the pews
e deixou os tocos no banco da igreja
And sometimes they would burn holes
e as vezes eles faziam buracos
That was the year his sister got glasses
aquele foi o ano em que sua irmã começou a usar óculos
with thick lenses and black frames
com lentes grossas e aros pretos
And the girl around the corner laughed
e a garota da vizinhança riu
when he asked her to go see Santa Claus
quando ele perguntou se ela queria ver o papai noel
And the kids told him why his mother and father kissed alot
e as crianças disseram pra ele o porque de seu pai e sua mãe se beijarem tanto
And his father never tucked him in bed at night
e seu pai nunca o levou pra cama de noite
And his father got mad when he cried for him to do it
e seu pai ficou uma fera quando ele chorou para que ele o levasse
Once on a piece of paper torn from his notebook
uma vez num pedaço de papel arrancado de seu caderno
he wrote a poem
ele escreveu um poema
And he called it "Innocence: A Question"
e ele o chamou de " Inocencia: Uma questão"
because that was the question about his girl
porque era uma questão sobre sua garota
And that's what it was all about
e era sobre isso de que tudo se tratava
And his professor gave him an A and a strange steady look
e seu professor lhe deu um A e um olhar firme esquisito
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
e sua mãe nunca pendurou o poema na porta da cozinha
because he never showed it to her
porque ele nunca o mostrou pra ela
That was the year Father Tracy died
aquele foi o ano que o padre Tracy morreu
And he forgot how the end of the Apostle's Creed went
e ele se esqueceu de como o fim da crença dos apostolos aconteceu
And he caught his sister making out on the back porch
e ele pegou a sua irmã dando uns amassos no banco de trás do porsche
And his mother and father never kissed
e sua mãe e seu pai nunca se beijavam
or even talked
ou ao menos se falavam
And the girl around the corner wore too much make up
e a garota da vizinhança passava muita maquiagem
That made him cough when he kissed her
que fazia ele tossir quando a beijava
but he kissed her anyway
mas ele a beijava assim mesmo
because that was the thing to do,
porque aquilo tinha que ser feito
And at three A.M. he tucked himself into bed
e as 3:00 da manhã ele mesmo se levou pra cama
his father snoring loudly
seu pai roncando alto

That's why on the back of a brown paper bag
e é por isso que atrás de uma saco de papel marrom
he tried another poem
ele tentou outro poema
And he called it "Absolutely Nothing"
e ele o chamou de "Absolutamente nada"
Because that's what it was really all about
porque era exatamente aquilo de que tudo se tratava
And he gave himself an A
e ele se deu um A
and a slash on each damned wrist
e um corte em cada um dos malditos pulsos
And he hung it on the bathroom door
e ele pendurou o poema na porta do banheiro
because this time
porque naquele momento
he didn't think he could reach the kitchen.
ele achava que não poderia alcançar a cozinha
